Lucia Specia has received a PhD in Computer Science from
the University of Sao Paulo (USP-Sao Carlos, Brazil) in
2007. She was a postdoctoral research engineer at Xerox
Research Centre Europe (Grenoble, France) and currently
works in the University of Wolverhampton as
a senior lecturer. Her research
interests include Machine Translation, NLP Evaluation,
Text Simplification, Word Sense Disambiguation and
Plagiarism Detection.
