Multi-touch Immersive Volume Visualization Device
This project developed a study of interaction tasks contained in medical imaging visualization systems. Based on this study, a device was developed for interaction in medical imaging visualization virtual environments. This device combines the advantages of direct mapping of the actions of the user to interact in a virtual environment with a method for input values through a multi-touch sensor. As a result, despite the users spend more time to complete the tasks in the virtual environment, in terms of accuracy the device was as effective as the desktop interface[TROMBETTA 2009].
