Roberto Tietzmann holds a PhD in Social Communication. He is a professor and researcher of the Postgraduate Programs in Social Communication and Creative Writing at PUCRS. He completed his doctorate in social communication from PUCRS (2010) where he studied visual effects, editing and cinematographic narrative in the King Kong films. He teaches film and television editing and post production on undergraduate courses. His research interests include data visualization, and the interfaces among moving image, technologies and design as enablers of emerging narratives.
